FAQ'S

What kind of care is offered?

Mary, Mother of God orphanage, will give the basic care that every human person needs during childhood-food, clothing, healthcare, and religious instruction. Our staff will work to provide the necessary attention, affection, love, and support needed to ease the burden of children growing up without parental care.

The house is designed to be a home with daycare materials, and study materials to prepare the children for a learning environment in the future. The home will provide food nourishment three times daily and, will strive to uplift and nurture children who otherwise would go without.

What Ages Do You Offer Care For?

The orphanage will be home for displaced children aged 3-9 years old for the time being. At these ages, they are within a more manageable level of control, care and the most vulnerable.  By the grace of God, the hopeful prospects and success of the program will determine changes in the future. It is estimated that, without counting the number of children from the state institution(s), we will need to care for roughly 60 children eventually but start with the first admission of approximately  10 children.  Our commitment to  these children is that they will remain in our care as there is a need and as they grow.

Where Are the Children Now?

Currently the orphanage has no children admitted.  The children under consideration  are currently being cared for by government social agencies, local charities and extended family if they have any. A small staff has been put in place by Father before leaving Ghana in June 2024 to be ready to receive the first children when the orphanage is ready and all approvals are given.

We pray  that day will arrive very soon with the help of our Lord, the outpouring of prayers and the continued generosity of donors like yourself.
